Glossy Navigation [with rollover effect!]

Hey time to show you how to make another type of glossy navigation heh lol ^_^

1. Open a new document and on a new layer make a rectangle using the rectangular marquee tool or just press 'M' on your keyboard and it will select it for you. Fill that rectangle in with some color.

2. Apply these effects as they will give you the effect of the menu.

3. Now hold ctrl down and click on the layer with the menu on. With it still selected make a new layer and then fill it with white. Press 'D' and then click ctrl+backspace. That will fill it in white for you.

4. With the rectangle still selected move it up but you must have the rectangle marquee tool selected as you can only do it by that tool. Once you are above half way click ctrl+shift+I. That inverts the selection and now click backspace. That will delete the bottom half of the white rectangle.

5. Once you deleted it click ctrl+d. This deselects the selection. Now set the layer with the white rectangle on at a lower opacity. I set mine to 15%. All is left is to add some text.

6. You can always make a rollover effect and i will show you how to make it but not do it in imageready. Just on a new layer with the same color as the menu apply this effect.

7. And you end up with something like this.
